Title: Spitfire Mk IXc ML407 Johnnie Houlton of 485 NZ Squadron RAF
Post by: Moeggo on November 30, 2009, 11:22:47 AM
I trying to find photos of Johnnie Houltons Spitfire Mk.IX. of 485 Sqdn RNZAF.

I have seen a couple different profile arts for this aircraft and a couple things are unclear.. I seen a couple with the pointy Rudder style that's currently on her now with Carolyn Grace, and others with crest/coat of arms painted on the side of her and D-Day bands painted completely around the fuselage. The one that I think is the most accurate is the one below...

Any information is appreciated!
