Title: Maltese Spitfire
Post by: Bald130 on August 20, 2013, 07:59:47 PM
On the BBC documentary "The Battle of Malta" the presenter went to a rough field to show two 20mm cannon barrels down in the soil this we were told was a crash site as they were exactly 15 feet apart as per the Spitfire the pilot was a Canadian named McCann ? There was no crater where the engine would have impacted between the cannon , solid rock under a tiny top soil ? Can anyone shed any light on this ?
