Title: Spitfire wing shape
Post by: admin on December 08, 2008, 08:52:29 PM
Here's an interesting attempt to produce a complete CAD model of the wing, together with some new "Spitfire wing shape" discussion.

Martin,

Great job. I had done the same thing with the same factory drawing.
Being a 2D guy I have had to go to extremes to fill in the blanks. I've
also had to do the same "fill in the blank" process with a few of the fuselage
frames.  I'll watch your progress with interest.

Nate

Thanks Nate, but technically it's not me who should be credited. Unfortunately CAD or proper technical drawings are beyond me. However, I still hope and wait for someone to come forward with nice Spitfire drawings for the site, so feel free to contribute.... :)

Best regards,
/Martin
