Title: What are File Sizes?
Post by: emilysmith1256 on September 06, 2019, 06:16:44 PM
The size of a file is the amount of space it takes on the storage device. The file size is measured in bytes as opposed to bits. One byte consists of 8 bits. The value is given out in bytes, kilobytes (KB), megabytes (MB), gigabytes (GB) and so on. One megabyte is 1024 kilobytes, one kilobyte is 1024 bytes, etc. Use this free online File Size calculator to convert file sizes from one unit of measure to another.
