I just stumbled across this picture, and thought some might know more about it. Is it a late Mk varient? Two seat? I've never seen a spitfire with longerons that looked like these.

Looks like a two seater to me but those longerons do look beefy.Is there a webpage where you found it?

Would have answered my own quesion, if I had bothered to search a little more. I'd like to get to
the Isle of Wight and see the work being done there.
