I'm trying to find out what happened to The Tynemouth Spitfire that was funded through community fundraising during the war (especially of 6d songsheets for a song written specifically for the plane). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Best wishes,

There's a sizeable paragrah on Vb AB866, in the Air-Britain book "Gifts of War," by Henry Boot and Ray Sturtivant, complete with a photo.  It was SOC 31-10-45.
