Hi Guys my first post on here, I'm Nick Dixon a 47 year old modeller for over 35 years now. I'm researching the French use of MK.IXs in Indochina for a modelling project which is out of my comfort zone as I normally stay with Commonwealth Air Force subjects

Does anyone know of a picture of the 2 options on the Carpena decal sheet as my search of online resources has failed to work out if they were 'C' wing or 'E' wing Spits. The French used both versions of the Spitfire in Indochina. I've posted this on a couple of modelling sites without a great deal of replies those that have replied have been useful generally. The serials of the two aircraft I am particularly interested in are TE141, & SL658. I'm more or less convinced that both are 'e's but just would like a little more confirmation.

Thanks for any replies I've come on this site often for info on Spits, my personel favorite versions are the bubble hood 14s & 18s.
