Apparently EN133 (one of the early Mk.IX conversions from a Mk.Vc) was a presentation aircraft.  It carried a 12" diameter badge below the windscreen (see photo), but it's not clear what the details of that badge were.  I originally thought it was a 611 Sqdn emblem motif, but it's definitely not now that I've seen this photo.  Any information would be most gratefully appreciated!

Thanks!

EN133 is not listed as a presentation Spitfire in Gifts of War.

Okay then... anybody got a guess as to what that circular emblem is??  It's not a 611 Sqdn emblem.  That's a rose with a trident behind it, and it's very symmetrical.  The design in this badge isn't symmetrical.

I always thought it to be an personal emblem of the pilot, but none of the printed versions of this photo offers enough resolution and dynamic range to see what's there. You'll probably need to get a copy from IWM (I guess it should be there in their collection).
