Hi there!
It’s my first appearance here and I would like to share my WIP 1/48 Hasegawa Spitfire Mk VI. In fact it is my participation on a GB here in Brazil at www.webkits.com.br.
Hasegawa has boxed that Mk VI from its own Mk V and the big mistake is the frame after the pilot’s bulkhead. Since Mk VI had a pressurized cockpit, that frame should be a solid piece. I’ve done some research but the great help came from NateW from this site, that helped me with diagrams and nice opinions – thanks a lot Nate!!
I’ve improved the cockpit with resin parts from Cutting Edge (made for the Tamiya Kit) and spare parts of Eduard PE sets, as well some scratch.
So here are some WIP pics. Hope you like them.
Regards,
Othniel

I love them when they come with pointy wingtips! Good attention to detail, I'll follow this one with interest!

Hi magnusf,
I love the pointed wings, too. Seems to be they do not need any engine!
I will post a pic of my Mk VII the VI one when it will be finished.
Best regards,
Othniel
