hello all,

haven't posted here for a year or so but I've just begun another Spitfire project based around ICM's run of mkIX kits.  I've begun a VII, VIII, IXc, IXe and XVI probably biting off more than I can comfortably chew at once!  I just wanted to check that I have fully understood the analysis in the article on the IX family elsewhere on this site, namely that all of these spitfires with either c or e wings had slightly bulged (curved) undercarriage covers due to the increased forward rake of the main legs.  The ICM kit has flat covers so I'm planning to give them a slight bend in the middle.

thanks in advance, I will of course post some pictures when they're all done... might be a bit of a while though!
