Hi Everybody,  Does anyone know the current whereabouts of Spitfire VB "RF-D" (EN951), or it's ultimate fate? (this was prinicipally the 'mount' of Jan Zumbach of Polish 303 squadron, I believe at Kirton-in- Lindsey?).  Grateful for the information!!!!  Best wishes, JULES

Became an instructional airframe after the war - serial 5516M. Presumably later scrapped.

Thank you for the reply Antoni. (and would also like to hear from any other forum members for corroboration/elaboration of Antoni's comments).  The (confirmed) 'end fate' of this aircraft is still a vexing missing piece of the jigsaw puzzle!
