Hi I, m researching a pilot of 131 squadron who was shot down on the 27 August 1943 over Normandy flying  Spitfire Mk Vb. I have his history as I have interviewed him. Yes he is still alive at 93.
I live in New Zealand so I cant get to the National Archive to research further. I have his service records but they only show movements and promotions etc. As he has two duaghters that weren, t too interested in his log book he sent them to auctions several years ago. I understand that they have been sold again. Is there anyone that can assit me with finding who might have his log book? Also I, ve tried to check the ORB, s but also can, t find him there.
Kind regards
Ron .P.
