Hello there,

I was browsing the web as one does and came across this thread on another forum.  http://forum.keypublishing.com/showthread.php?25335-Burmese-de-navalised-Seafires-the-myth

Whilst the main gist is about Burmese Seafire XVs, one poster mentions the theory - unknown to me before now - that 41 Sqn modified one or two of their Mk XIIs for low-level oblique photography.  Has anyone else come across this before and can you shed any more light?  I'm keen to know as reconnaissance is another interest of mine along with the Spitfire, so combining them both is always good.
